    What is moderated grading in Canvas?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    When creating an assignment in Canvas, you can choose to set it up with moderated grading<\/em>. Moderated grading<\/strong> allows multiple markers<\/em> to review the same<\/em> assignment submission independently<\/em>, and provide provisional grades and feedback<\/em>. These provisional grades and feedback are then manually reconciled<\/em>, and a final grade is agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Moderated grading is typically used to enable double marking<\/strong> – when first and second markers grade the same submission separately – and is not intended for use when there is only one marker per submission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
