    Introduction<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    In Outlook, you can subscribe to your Canvas calendar feed. Once subscribed, all events and assignments from your courses will appear in a view-only format, along with any appointment slots reserved by students. This allows you to see your upcoming Canvas events alongside your regular Outlook calendar items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Find Your Unique Calendar Feed<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    To sync your Canvas calendar to Outlook, first navigate to the Calendar page in Canvas. On the right-hand side of the page, choose the Calendar Feed option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This will bring up the Calendar Feed box. Copy the text in the URL field – you will need this for the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Syncing the Calendar Feed with Outlook<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Sign in to your university account on Outlook: University of Manchester Outlook<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the calendar page, choose Add Calendar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the box that opens, choose Subscribe from Web<\/strong>. Paste the URL you copied earlier into the box – you can now give your calendar a name, colour and icon, if desired. You may also select which of your calendar folders to import this calendar too.

    Once happy with your choices, click Import<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Canvas calendar will now be integrated and available in Outlook, including in the desktop app<\/strong>. The calendar will update when new events are added in your courses (NB: this may take up to 24 hours to sync).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Outlook integration is a helpful tool that makes your Canvas calendar accessible and viewable from Outlook.
