Last Day of Blackboard Access<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Canvas is now fully underway with the 25\/26 academic year having started and Semester 1 and Full Year courses were live from Monday 8th September 2025. Access to Blackboard has now also been disabled for all staff and students as of Friday 17th October 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From Sections to Differentiation Tags<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thus far, we have been using Canvas \u2018Sections\u2019 as a way of assigning specific content to students (different from \u2018Groups\u2019 \u2013 view this article<\/a>) but after further testing and consideration, we have now found \u2018Differentiation Tags\u2019 to be the most efficient way forward. Differentiation Tags are used for cases in which you would need to organise students anonymously, such as for setting flexible deadlines related to DASS requirements. Tags keep student identities private, while allowing you to tailor content and deadlines discreetly.
