From Sections to Differentiation Tags
Thus far, we have been using Canvas ‘Sections’ as a way of assigning specific content to students (different from ‘Groups’ – view this article) but after further testing and consideration, we have now found ‘Differentiation Tags’ to be the most efficient way forward. Differentiation Tags are used for cases in which you would need to organise students anonymously, such as for setting flexible deadlines related to DASS requirements. Tags keep student identities private, while allowing you to tailor content and deadlines discreetly.
