Recording Blended Content – Video Assets

One of the main tasks with a blended learning approach is to produce your blended learning material, we anticipate a large amount of this will be video content. Below are a list of resources that are available to help give your learning content a more professional touch.

Basic Design Guidance

These assets are presented to help you raise the production values for your videos, but they should be used sparingly to maximise the impact.

If your lecture ends up as several short 10min-ish videos, adding the video ident to each and every video would probably be overkill, but adding it to the first video of each lecture ‘series’ may work well.

Likewise, adding the campus drone footage to every video would most likely get boring pretty quickly but using it occasionally to change the pace and tone of your lecture could be very useful.

Campus Footage

Occasionally you may want to break from your powerpoints, these clips contain drone footage of many University buildings. You can download them from the video portal to use (sparingly) within your own lecture materials.
