Creating a Sense of Community and Inclusion through T&L

On Wednesday 13th September 2023 there was a showcase and discussion of ‘Creating a sense of community and inclusion through T&L’, bringing together speakers from across the Faculty

Showcase and Discussion of Active Learning Lectures

At the beginning of April 2022 there was an online showcase and discussion of active learning lectures, bringing together speakers from across the Faculty. The event was of particular relevance to anyone interested in ways of getting students to actively learn within the lecture room, be it through a style of lecturing, technology or activities.

Teaching Academy Mini Conference – “Emerging Stronger”

At the end of May 2021 the Faculty of Science and Engineering ran it’s second Blended Learning Conference, entitled Emerging Stronger – Taken from the Beverly Gibbs and Gary C Wood paper published by the Engineers Professors Council. The focus of the mini conference was to capture interesting and innovative experiences of staff delivering Blended and Online Learning over the past 12 to 18 months.

In December 2020 Teaching Academy ran it’s first Blended Learning Conference.

Blenders Question Time

Blenders Question Time was a regular open forum meeting, which ran during 2020, where members of FSE staff could ask questions and discuss approaches to Blended Learning.
